Take a walk on the wild side

There's been a lot of this around lately:

Yep, animal motifs are everywhere at the moment. Mui Mui led the way with their iconic bird prints first appearing in s/s 2010, getting a tweak for a/w 2011, and a further reworking for their 2012 resort collection. And where Mui Mui lead others follow. Animal motifs were all over the a/w 2011 catwalks, from Balenciaga to Topshop. Everyone's at it!

But you don't have to look like everyone. Hell no! Here's the Jules and Clem budget friendly guide to achieving a fun, personal, trend forward look. It's as easy as one, two, three!

 

1 - add a brooch to your belt. These cute cat brooches do the trick every time and work really well with the summer's colour blocking trend. If cats aren't your thing why not go for a dog, or a bird, or a bunny!

2 - collars are another of summer's big hits so why not add these bird brooches to yours?

3 - for an instant style update pin your favourite animal to your bag. So easy.
