glastonbury 2011

well well well. the aches of battling through miles of mud are all but gone. the smell of 5 day old long drop is but a distant memory and I. am. clean. so, it's time to remember the good times: dancing in the rain, adventures in the common, losing hours in reverend sharky's, singing along with the common people, bez spotting, radiohead sucking, shiny moments at strummerville, sunsets over the park and mud, glorious mud. thanks to all those who made this year one of the best. until 2013 Glastonbury!

glastonbury: it's nearly time

yep, we're less than 2 weeks away from the best festival (yeh not you bestvial) of the year, in the world, like, ever. fact. glastonbury. rain has been forecast but our spirits will not be dampened. the headliners may be disappointing (to those with ears) but the rest of the line up and general improvement of the late night areas more than make up for any bono related angst. to get into the festival spirit I thought i'd share some of my favourite photos from past years:

Dumble-adore

this week The Guardian featured an article on bag maker du jour The Cambridge Satchel Company. i’ve been secretly coveting these satchels for a while now and after reading this article i’m pretty much sold. the mother daughter team started making satchels to pay school fees, took their inspiration from Harry Potter and ensure each satchel is hand made in England. what could be better? new neon colours, that’s what:
